Stop Tyranny: Janet Napolitano’s War on YOU and America

Did you ever imagine that the trappings of tyranny would be so quickly apparent in the Obama administration? 
 
I’m referring to the shoddy intelligence Assessment released this month by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) headed by Janet Napolitano. 

And I want to tell you what the Thomas More Law Center is doing about it.

Her Report profiled as rightwing extremists and potential terrorists, AMERICANS who...  

• Oppose abortions,
• Oppose same-sex marriages,
• Oppose restrictions on firearms ownership,
• Oppose one world government,
  ..And our veterans, and those who oppose the social policies of President Obama.

It gets worse: she called on state and local police departments across the country to investigate and report on these so-called “rightwing extremists.”

Many Americans rightfully signed petitions demanding that Napolitano be fired.

I’m asking you to take an even more significant and dramatic action:  Support the lawsuit the Thomas More Law Center filed against her.

“Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty” is more than just a nice sounding phrase to teach our children in civics class.  You and I must convert it into action. 
 
Beginning with our War for Independence, hundreds of thousands of Americans have bled and died defending that liberty.

And we must do our part to ensure that the “Lamp of Liberty” is not extinguished on our watch.

The truth is that Janet Napolitano is threatening Americans who disagree with the policies of the Obama administration to “Shut Up or else.”   

Astonishingly, her intelligence Assessment admitted that DHS had no information on any plans of violence by so-called “rightwing extremists.” 

Indeed, this is the first step toward tyranny.  Please join me to stop it!

Clearly, Napolitano’s Assessment will be used as a tool to stifle political opposition to the policies of the Obama administration.  Patriotic Americans profiled in her Assessment as rightwing extremists and potential terrorists will undoubtedly be reported to the police by their opponents.  You can imagine what will happen next.    

This is one of those times when patriots must defend their country from their own government.

Would you ever have imagined our Homeland Security Secretary profiling as potential terrorists our returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan, who placed themselves in harms way, to defend our country and constitution?
 
And why is she so willing to use the word “terrorist” to describe law-abiding Americans when she refuses to use that word when speaking about the real terrorists?

Why has Janet Napolitano diverted public attention from the real domestic terrorists, the Radical Muslims in our midst?

Would you ever have imagined that our own government would target citizens based solely on their political and moral beliefs?

This will be a tough lawsuit.  TMLC will again be opposed by the vast resources of the federal government. 

Make no mistake:  This is a David versus Goliath fight. 

So America and Americans need your help.
 
We are receiving hundreds of emails from outraged Americans offering support and even requesting to join the lawsuit.
 
Here’s an email from a retired veteran which sums up the feeling of most:

“As a 22-year retired and disabled veteran, I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for standing up for the rights and freedoms of all veterans and law-abiding citizens of our great country. I was personally offended after reading the DHS summary threat assessment for “right-wing extremism.” I served my country with all of my heart and soul and feel this administration has violated everything I stood up for by this action. I continue to uphold my oath!  Maybe they should consider upholding theirs.”

Our lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on behalf of nationally syndicated conservative radio talk show host, Michael Savage, Gregg Cunningham (President of the pro-life organization Center for Bio-Ethical Reform), and Iraqi War Marine veteran Kevin Murray. 
 
TMLC claims that Napolitano’s Assessment has chilled the Constitutional rights to free speech, expressive association, and equal protection.  And we have asked the court to permanently enjoin its application.
