If this is true, Americans are obviously overpaid

The U.S. House took time to award taxpayer dollars in the fiscal 2007 Agriculture and Interior appropiations bills for the following favored projects:

(1) $1.14 million for the Center for Innovative Food Technology in Beltsville, MD.

(2) $1 million for research on bovine genetics in Beltsville, MD.

(3) $940,000 for managing brown tree snakes in Guam.

(4) $878,046 for catfish genome research in Auburn, AL.

(5) $790,744 for coffee and cocoa research in Beltsville, MD.

(6) $668,578 for diet,nutrition,and obesity research in New Orleans.

(7) $447,009 for research on barley food health benefits in Beltsville, MD.

(8) $390,000 honey bee research in Baton Rouge.

(9) $387,976 for manure management research in Ames, IA.

(10) $373,824 for grapefruit juice and drug interactions in Tempe, TX.

(11) $365,1567 for potato breeding research in Aberdeen, Idaho.

(12) $6.7 million for the Institute of American Indian and Alaska Native Culture and Arts Development.

(13) $1 million for thew National Hispanic Farm Workers Initiative.

(14) $1 million for the Iowa State University project on mitigating emissions from egg farms.

(15) $300,000 for research on ivory-billed woodpeckers.

(16) $700,000 to monitor wolves reintroduced in Idaho.

In addition the Democrat and Republican Congress stole $1,73 billion from Social Security Taxes last year.
