Republicans in the U.S. Senate could have -- SHOULD HAVE -- confirmed John Bolton!  They had the majority in the Senate and a majority of Senators supported John Bolton.

Majority Leader Bill Frist and Senate Republicans could have played hard-ball.  They had the power to bring the nomination out of committee and to the Senate floor, where Bolton would have been easily confirmed.

Yet they did NOTHING. They cringed behind their desks, determined to sneak out of Washington this week, tails between their legs!

Last month, the American people went to the polls, turned about two dozen RINOs OUT OF office and DEMANDED conservative government!  And unfortunately in the process, the GOP lost its majority and a few good men like Rick Santorum, Jim Talent and George Allen.

But apparently our leaders did not get the message!

Days ago, both parties held leadership elections.  The GOP had a chance to infuse some new blood into the leadership -- THEY DIDN'T

Our leaders had yet another opportunity to show us they had the right stuff.  They could have put RINOs like lame-duck Lincoln Chafee in their place and force a fair up-or-down vote on the Bolton nomination -- THEY FAILED TO ACT!

Apparently our leaders did not get the message!

That's why... as they go home on recess... before they give up the majority for the next two years... we must send them a final parting message and make sure that THEY FINALLY DO GET THE MESSAGE!

Simply put... it's time to do the American people's business.  Liberals will attempt in the coming months to ram an agenda of higher taxes and social engineering down the throats of the American people.  Conservatives MUST stand firm to STOP that agenda.

It can be done!  But ONLY if RINO obstruction and conspiring with the opposition come to a stop HERE and NOW!

Why Didn't They Act!

Because a lone GOP senator -- Lincoln Chafee -- personally intervened to kill Bolton's nomination.

And get this! Chafee didn't object to Bolton personally. He held the nomination hostage in an effort to force the President to turn against Israel.

And the Republican senatorial leadership let Chafee do it.

But that's not all the GOP leadership did.  With their ascent to power came arrogance rather than responsibility. They thumbed their noses at the people who voted them into office and trusted them to do what was right.

Trent Lott and then Bill Frist cowered in the face of insults, lies, and dirty tricks by bullies like Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer, and Teddy Kennedy.

GOP leaders allowed seven of their turncoat colleagues to hatch a deal with the Democrats to keep the most conservative judicial nominees from getting an up-or-down vote.

And yes... they allowed the insufferable Lincoln Chafee to block the confirmation vote of John Bolton -- the best UN ambassador in that corrupt and obscene organization's history.

They compromised the long-held principles of their party and betrayed their base for Chafee, too big for his britches, too far-out Left for his party.

And when they had yet another chance to show the American people they were something better -- an opportunity to do one decent thing for their country -- they blew it.

As they go home... they need to hear from you one more time.  They MUST know that RINO obstruction MUST stop!

 

What Was Wrong With Bolton?

Bolton's final defeat was good news for One-Worlders, Kofi Annan, the Clintons, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the international fat cats who want to eliminate all national borders, all patriotism, all religion.

They hate Bolton because he's never mouthed the platitudes of the globalists, who have called the UN -- "the last best hope of mankind," "the peace maker," "the world's problem solver."

Consider these tidbits courtesy of the New York Post:

"It was Bolton who recently organized the majority coalition that blocked Hugo Chavez's Venezuela from winning a seat on the Security Council."

"It was Bolton who worked with France to broker a cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah (flawed as it was)."

"It was Bolton who took the lead in pressing for comprehensive reform of the U.N.'s rotting institutional infrastructure."

"It is Bolton who has refused to play the game of diplomatic double-talk, refusing to participate in the new - and already discredited - Human Rights Council, which he memorably called a case of "putting lipstick on a caterpillar and calling it a butterfly."

That's a strong record of accomplishment for a man who has served his recess appointment for merely a year.

But that's not all!

In 1994, Bolton gave the best definition of the UN ever framed:

"There is no such thing as the United Nations. There is an international community that occasionally can be led by the only real power left in the world, and that is the United States.... If the UN secretary building in New York lost ten stories, it wouldn't make a bit of difference"

The UN is the Emperor who has no clothes. It is a pipe dream. An illusion.

Many of the 191 UN delegates represent governments that practice genocide, slavery, ritual maiming, and the sexual exploitation of women and children.

They take billions of dollars from the U.S., hate us with a dark broiling passion, and vote against us on every issue crucial to our interests.

John Bolton brought no illusions to the UN. He knows the organization is corrupt and malicious, a threat to the very survival of the country he loves.

And now he won't be confirmed.  And if we do not stop this RINO obstruction here and now... if conservatives in the Senate do NOT stand united... we'll get a State Department bureaucrat who is in love with the UN.
 

And Now, What?

Kofi Annan has described the United Nations as "the sole source of legitimacy on the use of force."

Bolton openly challenged that view: "If the United States allows that claim to go unchallenged, its discretion in using force to advance its national interests is likely to be inhibited in the future."

Maybe that's why Jesse Helms, as chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee -- once said of John Bolton: "[He] is the kind of man with whom I would want to stand at Armageddon, if it should be my lot to be on hand for what is forecast to be the final battle between good and evil in this world."

The American people want a UN Ambassador who will make certain the Battle of Armageddon isn't fought on U.S. soil, with UN troops leading the attack on America and Americans.

John Bolton was that man.

The obstruction of his nomination was much more than a mere failure.  It was a betrayal.  That's the message our political leaders in Washington MUST understand!

But more importantly, they must understand that things MUST change...

Liberals will attempt in the coming months to ram an agenda of higher taxes and social engineering down the throats of the American people. 

Conservatives MUST stand firm to STOP that agenda.

And that means there can be no more RINO obstruction!
