Michael Nikitin was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 1, 1955; grew up in Michigan – except for a five year period in Massachusetts (age 5 to 10) and two years in Tennessee (age 18 and 19). But for the other forty-four years of his life he has been in his home state of Michigan. He currently lives in Brighton, Michigan and has since 1992.
While working on his college degrees he has worked for companies involved in Michigan’s automotive industry. He has worked for or has been a consultant to the US automobile companies and their major suppliers. He is an expert in quality and manufacturing techniques, efficiency and effectiveness. While holding down his regular job, he also was the Chief Umpire for Ford Motor Company’s softball complex at Rotunda Fields in Dearborn.
Mr. Nikitin worked and paid his way through college life while working full time. He has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management and a master’s degree in Business (MBA) from Lawrence Technological University in Southfield.
Mr. Nikitin is married and has two adult children.
