Seeing the legislature and Governor of Michigan raise taxes, while businesses and individuals have been leaving the state, increasing the burden on the remaining businesses and individuals, makes it very clear that the purpose of government in their minds, is far different from the purpose of government in the minds of any past generation of Americans.
Politicians like Valde Garcia imply on their web site that they think it is bad that "Michigan continues to loose jobs and raise taxes", yet he was listed in the news as having voted to raise taxes.
Michigan legislators say they can only introduce so many bills per session and yet we continually see time and money wasted on 'Michigan' bills to have the 'US' Congress honor some person, group of people, an insignificant event and other equally useless legislation.
These same politicians also make bad laws that create many of the problems we see today. Then, because the results of their laws are bad, they are forced to come up with "feel good" laws that make them look like they are fighting for us, but only irritate the law abiding and do nothing to solve the problems they created.
This situation should cause us to ask ourselves if we are still free men who can own property like our founding fathers, or whether we are just tenants who only rent property from the Michigan and federal governments.
There is no federal or state law requiring anyone to have an ID. And in California, where they had voted to make it law that every citizen have an ID, the courts found it unconstitutional. Yet you cannot live in America without a social security number. And more and more, no one will do business with you, or let you go anywhere, unless you show them your "government" ID.
Every time I year someone say they are happy to have a social security number so they can do all the things they do in this "free" country, it makes me laugh. It always brings to my mind a picture of someone in a World War II concentration camp holding up their arm behind a barbed wire fence and saying how happy they are to have their "social security" number tattooed to it.
We are getting very close to the end of what I will call the "War of 1962", and freedom, property, and prosperity, have all but lost. We can all see this very clearly in Michigan. And so many are proud to be helping the enemy to victory, knowing they cannot be blamed because, "This is what the computer tells us we must do", or "The corporate office controls that and I can't change it at the store level", or "Its state [federal] law, there is nothing we can do about it", or "I'm just doing my job".
The solution to Michigan's problems is that people start 'doing something about it'.
The solution to Michigan's problems is to have good people elected to office who will look back and see what we did right from the 1600's to the 1900's and do it again, and take what we have been doing wrong from the 1900's until now and throw it out.
The solution to Michigan's problems is to have federal, state and local judges removed who have replaced justice with Hollywood theatrics and personal creativity, and replace those judges with men who will look back and see that they must apply Biblical and Constitutional principals to court decisions as their predecessors did. Included in this, is that judges must throw out and also instruct juries to throw out laws that are unconstitutional, or just plain bad.
Everyone who is in favor of going back to "God and the Constitution" is tired of fighting by himself. If the people of Michigan don't start to support these people instead of those with so called "experience" and "education", Michigan will never recover from the effects of 46 years of socialism. If the people of Michigan refuse to elect only representatives and allow only judges with Biblical and Constitutional values to serve in offices of trust, things will only get worse than they already are.
The quality of our leaders over the last 46 years has declined so much that I am 100% sure that if Michigan will elect only those who will commit to repealing bad laws and legislate using the same "reason and experience" that our forefathers did, Michigan will have so much freedom and so much prosperity that everyone in the country will look upon Michigan in awe, thinking that we have worked a miracle, when in fact we have just done what our current politicians refuse to do out of self centered ambition.
For a long time the government, schools, and media have given us the impression that something 'wrong' was 'right' and that what was 'right' was 'wrong'. Few wanted to believe anything else. But now with Ron Paul maintaining about 4th place in the state primaries for president of the United States, we are seeing signs that people might be waking up and starting to question the sanity of the country's current political course.
Every community in Michigan needs to seek out God fearing, Constitutional, men in their area and have them put on the ballet and then educate the people as to why they must vote for these men. Nothing short of this will solve Michigan's problems.
The Constitution Party has chosen to base its party on Biblical and Constitutional principles and is trying to recruit and present candidates who will change Michigan for the better and now it is time for Michigan to join them. Michigan should choose to solve its problems this election year instead of just dragging them out and letting them get worse. Michigan should stop the abuse now rather than letting the current politicians make people more dependent on government just to get themselves re-elected.
