Freedom

When our Founding Fathers gathered to sign the Declaration of Independence, our declaration that we wanted to be free, Samuel Adams spoke the following words:

"We have this day restored the Sovereign, to Whom alone men ought to be obedient. He reigns in heaven and ... from rising to the setting sun, may His Kingdom come.".

To many today these must seem like strange words to recite at a declaration of independence, but our Founding Fathers knew the true meaning of freedom, something we have long forgotten.

True freedom is restoring God to his rightful place in our lives, families, churches, work places, and governments.

Our Founding Fathers knew that men would always have a master and that the only difference between being free and being a slave is who that master is.

If man is your master you are a slave. If God is your master you are free.

Freedom is imposible without self-governing people.

Freedom is imposible without morality.

"The Administration has totally lost all sense and feeling of morality [and is] governed by passion, cruelty and revenge." - Samuel Adams, May 18, 1774

Freedom is imposible without God.
