I support cutting taxes in every area and eliminating them in others such as the death tax.
I plan to introduce legislation to repeal all the activities of the federal government that are not authorized by the U.S. Constitution.
This involves an estimated 3/4's of federal expenditures. After excluding that, it is beyond belief that the taxes would ever be raised above their current level. I would vote to raise taxes only if this nation were at war and our national survival were at risk.
As our rulers promise more and more entitlements to the citizens I fear that Alexis de Tocqueville’s warning is coming to pass: "The American Republic will endure, until politicians realize they can bribe the people with their own money."
