Our industries should not be subsidized by public tax funds. Free trade is best, but tariffs should be levied on goods from nations that use slave labor or do not impose the costs that our government imposes on our companies (e.g. unemployment taxes, environmental regulation costs, workmen’s compensation costs, etc).
