I am an avid supporter of the 2nd Amendment.
I have owned rifles, pistols and shotguns since I was in grade school (I am now 62 years old). In my house we have always had these weapons handily available.

The federal government violates its own constitution when it passes gun laws. Our freedom will not survive if the general citizenry is disarmed – history bears that out.
I have been in the Army Reserves for 30 years where among my other duties I taught rifle and pistol familiarization and weapons firing to the officer corps.
Remember: The police take a report AFTER the assault. A gun protects DURING the assault.
