"Death with dignity" is not a federal civil rights issue. In Congress I would let the States make their own decision about "Death with dignity"; as mandated by the 10th amendment to the U.S. Constitution, namely: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."
