No more new laws are needed, more laws actually make it easier to skirt basic honest accounting procedures.
In the last accounting period the federal government was unable to account for $13,000,000,000. They obviously don’t know enough about accounting to oversee somebody else.
The investing public will learn whom to trust although there will always be adjustment periods. This is also the opinion of writers in the Wall Street Journal.
