Chuck Conces
Declaration of Candidacy

Dear News Editor:

I would like your readers to know that I am running for the Office of Attorney General for the state of Michigan. I am a candidate on the US Taxpayers Party and will be on the ballot in November. I also have the support of the Libertarian Party.

My pledge to the voters is to clean up corruption in state government and to prosecute any official who violates the Constitutional rights of any of our citizens. I have been battling for honest government for many years. We can now get this done with the help of the voters.

As Attorney General, I pledge to:

1) Remove all Notices of Lien on our citizens that do not have a certification or a court order on them. There are over one million of these illegally filed liens on Michigan citizens. The present Attorney General, Mike Cox, refuses to do this and allows illegal notices to remain on property of our citizens.

2) Notify every township and county of illegal ordinances, passed without the authority of law, to rescind these ordinances immediately. Every ordinance only has authority to do what the law authorizes, and cannot go beyond what the law states.

3) Review cases where the Constitutional rights or Due Process have been violated in our courts, and seek to remedy those abuses. Citizens will be able to ask for reviews. The present Attorney General will not do reviews for ordinary citizens who are not part of the "good old boy" clique.

4) Have an open door policy to the public. The public deserves open and honest government.

I look forward to being elected and to begin this massive program to bring honesty to state government. I am attaching my flyer and picture.
